The TEACHER ASSISTANT profession course covers the following topics and practical skills
Games and activities with children
The child’s play according to the period of development:
development of playing skills at different ages;
forms and approaches for partnering in the child’s play;
types of games: role-playing, communicative, linguistic, educational, competitive, sports.
Activities of the child according to the period of development:
types of activities with the child according to the period of development: play, school forms of activity, out-of-school forms of activity, home activities, self-training;
physiological mechanism of alternation of wakefulness and sleep processes in accordance with childhood age;
basic requirements for proper organization of nutrition according to the child’s age;
basic methods of organizing the children’s regime in the wakefulness process depending on the specific age and status of each child.
